We are delighted to announce that K3 Retail and Sue Ryder have been selected as finalists in the Retail Systems retail charity partnership of the year award category.
K3 are supporting Sue Ryder as they replace their old legacy systems with a Microsoft Dynamics retail solution to help them manage their 450 retail stores more efficiently with volunteer friendly systems, allowing staff to focus their time on what’s important to them, raising funds to provide the incredible care they are known for.
The project is a real team effort, led by K3 Retail and supported by strong partnerships delivering an end to end solution designed specifically with the charity’s needs in mind – the Microsoft Dynamics and LS Retail solution is fully managed and cloud enabled, combining K3 Retail’s software solution and K3 Starcom’s hosted service with BMc Azurri’s specialist Gift Aid and IT Services together with payments expert Verifone, AGR Dynamics’ inventory management and BI from TargIT.

Hobbycraft teamed up with ‘digital charity box’ provider Pennies and installed the Pennies software into its payments solution with the help of K3 Retail. They have already attracted a significant level of donations from customers and improved engagement with both shoppers and employees enabling Hobbycraft to extend its commitment to long-standing chosen charity ‘Together for Short Lives’, which runs 53 children’s hospices.
Now into their 12th year, the Retail Systems Awards recognise technology excellence and innovation within the retail sector. Winning entries come from retailers and technology suppliers who are leading the way in areas such as mobile, online, payments, loyalty and personalisation. This year’s winners will be announced at the Retail Systems Awards Gala Dinner & Ceremony on 19 October 2017 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square. The event was attended by over three hundred guests in 2016 and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever.
