American Golf, Europe’s leading golf retailer with 80 stores in the UK and Ireland, has selected K3 Retail, the UK’s leading provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology to supply and implement its Business Intelligence tool to further improve availability and use of management Information throughout business.
The Business Intelligence tool will improve American Golf’s reporting across the business and in particular will give better visibility of stock, helping the retailer to make more accurate business critical decisions.

Our previous business intelligence system was unreliable. The data very often had to be reconciled to the underlying accounting information and our buying and merchandising team spent significant time manipulating the information in spreadsheets, which was far from ideal. With the new solution we will have the ability to provide automated reports will be available to our team first thing in the morning which will save time, but more importantly will help us to make better informed decisions.
We look forward to the benefits the new system will bring. The information will be more reliable and we will have a clear view of all the stock that we are holding which will enable us to make better business decisions.
American Golf already uses K3’s retail solution, including EPOS, throughout the business and the new Business Intelligence tool will be integrated within the system.
